Who’s up for a performance? We’ll create and decorate with paint, paper, and threads our own rhythm sticks, rattles, and shakers. Shake, rattle, and roll for an end of art camp performance for parents and peers at our gala (for those who want to). Materials provided.

Even unicorns will be jealous! Explore bead making: fabric and fiber and lace and paper beads. We’ll make beads to use on our boring writing pens. We’ll make topper/zipper charms. Once you know how to bling-up your stuff with beads, you can have personalized stuff all school year long!

This one-week class will introduce students to 4 different artists with 4 very different styles and 4 different media/techniques including Vincent Van Gogh (Post Impressionism), Frida Kahlo (Surreal Portraits), Wassily Kandinsky (Music Inspired Abstraction) and Georges Seurat (Pointillism). Students will create a piece of art influenced by the work of each artist.
