Write Now! Acadia Literary Arts Workshop

A new Literary Arts Workshop known as Write Now! Acadia is being formed at the CAA! The group will be led by Randy Dupre', co-founder of the Bayou Writers Group of Lake Charles which has produced many fine authors and poets. He hopes to do the same here by offering a place and community where writers can grow and support one another as they develop their skills and work towards publication. The intention of the group is to give writers a place to work, share ideas, get help, or bounce ideas off of one another; as well as to be a venue to share their work. Meetings will be held at the Crowley Art Association Gallery from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. every Tuesday, September through May. Attendees will not be required to stay the full time nor attend every meeting. There is no cost to be a member and membership is open to the public and all ages. All forms of writing are acceptable!
