A Home for the Arts

The Crowley Art Association began in 1975-1976 when a group of Crowley artists worked to establish an art and crafts show to be held in conjunction with the International Rice Festival held each year in October. With the help and guidance of the late Marvin Dubose of Lafayette Art Association a group was formed with the purpose of promoting art and an interest in art in the area. Forty-five members signed up for the group and we have kept this event alive known as “Arts in the Park”. This past year, despite corona virus challenges we were able to build back our attendance and had over 60 vendors over a 2-day period. A success in our eyes.
